i've been searching a long time for a dvd author that supports 44,100 hz sound, but it doesn't seem to be any. I now 44,1 khz is not dvd compliant, but can't i make som kinda' XDVD? You can make a SVCD with 48 khz sound, doesn't matter! Could anybody tell me if theres a way?

I'm afraid the answer may be "no". The audio even on a DVD-VCD has to be resampled to 48 kHz to be DVD compliant.

IFOEDIT will author with 44100 audio. I've converted SVCD to DVD with IFOEDIT and it accepts and authors from 44100 audio. I've had no problem playing these xDVD's on DVD players but I suppose there may be some DVD players that might have a problem.

  4. If its just for yourself and it works then thats fine, however if you want to produce for others then you should look at this :
