  1. Just a quick and easy question.
    All I'm trying to do is to rip music from menu of one of my DVD's.I don't want the whole soundtrack just these music clips played on menus.I tried soem tutorials but could not find anwser

  2. use dvd2avi to make a project (just the areas you want to rip with the music) and it will rip the music for you!

    Then you could encode to mp3 or whatever you might like...

    Also, VirtualDub/VirtualDubMod will be able to easily rip all the audio from the disc.

    It's a lot easier than I originally thought. I've used this guide to rip the audio from several soundtracks:

    One thing though. The guide talks about using Audacity to edit WAV files but it always crashed. I was using an older version of Audacity. A new version is out but I haven't tried it out. I've had good success with editing tracks with Feurio. You can download a free trial version at www.feurio.com It's free and is not disabled in any way. The only catch is that you get nag screens which last longer and longer the more you use the program. Good luck.
