Hi all,
Basically I am tring to output the contents of my monitor (or just my DVD playing software) onto my TV screen. I assume this is possible as my Video card has a TV out.
Errr.....I found these 3 leads which I thought would do the job, so decided to plug them together to try it. Basic description :-
I have a lead that goes from the S VIDEO OUT connects into some chunky connector, the other end of that chunky connector connects into another chunky connector and then there are yellow, white and red leads which plug into the back of this scart connector(that came with my DVcam) in my tv.
Got that
When I try and click on tv out it trys something then the monitor comes back on after 10 secs, but no error messages ?? And no display on the TV ??
Any Ideas,
Cheers,
Mike

Plug the SVideo connector into the voodoo card from there into the video scart. In wondows goto Display properties and into advanced. U need to select svideo as output and also have to Video/Tv on so u can see. You cannot have both monitors on & tv so when it has switched over to the tv you have to select YES to keep it on, remebering your monitor display will disapear. Also check settings on display properties for Pal or NTSC & also your vidoeo is on the AUX or AVI channel ..

Cheers for the reply Mac. I found it was that lead that was dodgy!! Got a new one and it works fine!!
Cheers Again,

Since there are no official drivers for XP, has anyone had success? I've seen some third party drivers for XP and some have even included the TVTools, but there are almost always problems registering some of the dll's needed to get the tv output working (even the new, super-improved HOE drivers aren't working quite right).
