I've wasted about 5 CDRs trying to get this to work. I burned about 3 VCDs with Nero (using the VCD feature). When I placed them in my DVD player (Philips DVD825 which supports CDRs), All I could see was the video, I couldn't here anything. Then, I tried to convert my mpg to the bin/cue files and burn the cue w/ FireBurner and the SAME THING HAPPENED! Any help will be appreciated.

Well, you didn't say if they play fine (with audio) in your PC or not. I'll assume they do just to give you the benefit of the doubt. In that case, one possible problem may be your receiver or A/V preamp. On my Theta Casablanca, I must manually switch the audio mode to 'stereo' or 'matrix' to hear the audio on VCDs. That's strange because it automatically switches between DD and DTS depending on the DVD I'm playing. I don't know why I have to manually switch to stereo with VCDs. At any rate, you may want to try that.

Ok, well, I messed around with some audio settings like you said and I finally got it to work...
Thanks for the help
