    I was checking out some DVD players over at http://surplusmax.com/drill.htm?CategoryID=105 and they got some pretty cheap ones. On the DVD Players section of this site, a lot of people like the APEX brand. I'm looking for a good versital DVD player for my baby boy's room. I don't care about VCD, SVCD, MP3, or CD. I just want it to play DVDs; both DVD backups and VHS to DVD conversions. Would one of the APEX's be a good choice? or maybe the Panasonic? I know there is no clear choice, but I just wanted a few feedback responses. Thanks.

    Some of the Apex's supposedly gave up the vcd option, but I got my kids a Koss I believe KD365, it plays my xvcd's and +R's just fine.
