    34 dollars.

out of these which would you recommend? as long as these would work well and can capture mpeg2 at full dvd resolution with hardware and not software then I would be interested in buying one. I am wanting to capture from satellite to mpeg2 720x480 maybe 8 mbps. I only have an 833 mghtz processor so when I try to capture mpeg2 on my current wintv go pci card it drops so many frames and the video jitters. I can capture at 720x480 if i lower the quality way down but then the quality is really bad. I'm just wondering if any of these cards have mpeg2 hardware capturing capabilities if it would help me capture at the full dvd 8mbps I'm looking for? thanks

  2. I'd be sort of surprised if you could find a hardware encoding card for under $100. Some of the ATI cards have hardware assist however.
