Hi. I'm from Argentina. I'm a newbie. I've a Pioneer DV-366. It's NTSC and PAL compatible (it doesn't says anything about it's PAL B or N). Here in Argentina whe have Pal-N TV's. I'd like to know if I can play PAL-B DVDs (zone 2) on my DVD player and see them in color in my TV (a PAL-N/NTSC compatible). Thanks to all.![]()

Hey Argentino.
PAL-N has nothing to do with PAL. It is a diferent system, just like NTSC or PAL-M.
If you want to Play European (PAL) DVD's you need a TV capable of handling PAL (not PAL-N).
Some DVD players can convert PAL to NTSC directly, if that is the case with your model then you dont have to worry. Otherwise you will need a PAL to NTSC transcorder.
There is no such a thing as PAL-N DVDs. DVDs are only PAL or NTSC, even on countries where the TV has other standards like ARgentina (PAL-N) or Brazil (PAL-M).
Regards,
Reco
