Got the Cyber Home 1500 to backup all my Laser Disc. I have no problem
making a disc that plays on all my players. My problem is
what apears to be linterlace or inleaving lines on bright fast moving items.
Is this a 1500 problem, do I need a TBC? Have used SVHS and composit
all the same. If I can't get this to work back it goes. Any one
backing up Laser Disc using 1500 or Liteon 5001, please let me know.

I don't think it has anything to do with what brand of burner you have. It could be as easy as specifying TFF or BFF (top field first or bottom field first). Sounds like the fields are out of order. Another posibility is that you did not author an interlaced DVD. Another thing that will throw off interlacing is if you dropped a frame and got things out of wack.
Finally, if your LD is telecined, then you might want to investigate inverse telecining.
One more thing, make sure hte problem is eveident on the TV. You may see interlacing on the PC and that is fine, the TV is what matters.

Is interlacing an issue with a Stand Alone recorder? The original post stated he was recording LDs using a Cyberhome 1500 stand alone DVD recorder, not capturing to his computer, processing, and burning with a DVD burner. If I am off track, please let me know.
