  1. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME WITH THIS QUESTION? I GOT A MOVIE THAT IS BIGGER THAN 740MEGS..PLEASE HELP ME OR IF THERE IS A PROGRAM I CAN GET THAT WOULD HELP MAKE THE SIZE SMALLER CAN YOU ALSO POST HERE..THANKS A BUNCH.

  2. Some CDRs can over burn, some can not. You'll need software that can over burn too (Nero can and I believe CDRwin will too).

    My DVD player won't read overburnt dics thou so I don't do it.

    There are several ways to make the file smaller, encode at a lower audio setting (eg. 224 -> 192k), lower the bit rate, use 2pass VBR and a bit rate calculator, etc. etc.

    Or just burn it on a 80min CDR (holds 800MB)

  4. Right that too, forgot about that one Nero does give this message saying that you CDR drive could be destroyed are you sure you want to proceed or something like that.

  5. Yeah what is the deal with that disclaimer in nero? Could your burner actually be damaged or is it just nero covering its ass thoroughly?

    A few CD-Writer software packages warn you that it is possible to damage your CD-Writer when trying to oversize a CD-R. At the moment there is totally no evidence supporting this warning. They just put it in their software just in case it happens and they then can say that you have been warned!
