  1. I am using DVDLab 1.3 beta7. When I import media it starts to demux and my CPU usage jumps to 100%. When demux is finished, I proceed to the next step and it never gets their it then crashes. Luckily enough it does give me the chance to try and save it before it crashes. I then restart the program and open the file then everything works ok. It's a pain having to do that all the time. I just started using this program and am very pleased with it. I've had to shoot from the hips though so I don't know if there is a setting I need to adjust.

The other thing that bothers me is that I have yet to find out how to delete or cut a anything from the workspace. Example - Menus, buttons, backrounds etc... I've only been able to delete assets.

I am using a P4 2.5ghz with 1024hgz of ram @ pc2700. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  3. There is no delete function. None from any menu or right clicking.
The only way I can remove something is if I undo right after doing it.

  5. there is a delete function in the assets window and in the movie windows to delete video and audio. no delete in the menus though, pain in the ass, if you put something in that you dont want you gotta reopen it from the last saved spot. sucks.

anyway, ive had this happen to me, but not chronically like for you. I suggest that you demultiplex using tmpeg instead of using dvdlab to demultiplex it (because dvdlab sometimes makes errors, like cutting files short, at least it did for me). So then you can just import the already demultiplexed files into your assets and it should be fine.

I select with a mouse click and use the Delete KB key, works for me. Can delete anything anywhere. With regard to crashes, seems that your paths must be confusing for DVDLab. Remove and reinstall the whole thing. Also, it may be that the app is temporarily "out of memory". Again, best bet is to reinstall. I use XPPro and it never crashed here.

Yes, this does work. I have tried it. I guess this would be the way to go. It's just a shame that you can't do it all with this great program.

Thanks, I'll try it. Sometimes you get all caught up doing something a certain way that you forget about other ways.
