  1. I have a Sony DRU-500A and I'm burning home made DVD movies to Ritek 4x Printable DVDs. However, 98% through the verification process, it throws an error stating "one or more files may not match the original" (that was paraphrased). Thing is though, when I actually try playing the disc in a player, it works just fine. Is there some reason why it may be doing this? Thanks!

Edit: I should have mentioned that I only have this problem with the aforementioned discs.

Out of all of the Ritek's I have used over the years...the ONLY ones I have had bad burns with are the 4X white printable ones. The "see thru" ones all worked perfectly on my LG4040B and my Philips DVDR985 Recorder.
My failures with the 4X on my LG happened almost immediately and were ruined. I've had 3 out of about 30 bad burns with the 4X printables....ZERO with the others.

  3. I think the Sony DRU-500A needs Firmware 2.0f for those disks, but I might be wrong.

    Good luck.

What does that mean? Sorry, I don't have too much experience with DVD Burners.

By the way, I'm using RecordNow, if that matters.
