mirror image?

I've downloaded a few movies (4 to be exact) and two of them are upside down and reversed (as if you were watching them in a mirror) Anyone know what's going on? Is there some way of reversing this reversal?

The first thing to try is rebooting (this often helps for some off reason). Other wise the movie was encoding with the wrong YUV 4:2:2 format.

Load it in Virtual Dub and use the invert horizontal/vertial (as needed) to get it back to normal. Or if you plan to convert it to a MPEG frameserve after you've added the filters (no need to re-save as DivX).
