    I am in the process of converting this Divx file to DVD. From the information that Gsopt gives me below it is a PAL source. I was wondering if there was a simple way of converting this to NTSC?

    Looking at the conversions table here what is the difference between the FPS rates with the i's and the ones with the p's. Is this Interlace and Progressive? How can I find this information from the video source?

    Yes, p is progressive, i is interlaced. DVD can support both.

    Your source is a divx. Divx only supports interlacing from version 5.02 and above (AFAIK). Treat it as progressive and you will be fine.
