  1. Hi,

I authored a movie only DVD in DVDlab with no menu. When the movie finishes the screen goes blank but the disc keeps spinning.

Are there some commands I can add in IfoEdit to stop (which has the same effect as pressing STOP on the remote or DVD player) the DVD?

    thanks

When I initially read your post, I didn't answer because IFOEdit and commands are really outside of my experience level. I figured that someone else with more experience would've replied.

My only suggestion is to look at the Exit command. The DVD-Video information on mpucoder.com indicates that this command stops all playback, so I would have to guess that it has the same affect as hitting STOP. Now the question of where to put the command. I'm assuming that it would be a post command and not a pre command. But where? On the last cell of the program chain? Maybe. I'm definitely outside of my realm here.

If you find something that works, please post it here.
Tools used: ScenalyzerLive 4.0, Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0, Adobe After Effects 7.0 Professional, Adobe Encore DVD 2.0, IFOedit 0.96, DVD-lab PRO 1.53, Adobe Audition 2.0

  3. EXIT Hex Code: [30 01 00 00 00 00 00 00]

    Open VTS_01_0.IFO / VTS_PGCITI /PGC_# (last one that plays)
Scroll down to the command table and edit the last command by double clicking it and writing theabove HEX number. Don't press delete in there - if you make a mistake then write Zeros over it!

If there is the "There is no command table" message then right click on it and choose "Add Post Command" - edit that as above.

To learn more about the DVD Commands goto:

Look at the commands on the left - most are generated online - clever stuff!

    cheers
