  1. I have two films that are XVid DVD rips. Gspot does show some differences. One movie worked fine using TMPGEnc DVD Authoring to make a DVD-R but the other came out jerky as hell. Almost like it's doing each frame twice with a slight pause between each. Both played perfectly in Windows XP. So I tried using TMPGEnc to convert it first, same result. Tried using Virtualdub to redo it first but still no luck. Help please anyone.

    Use the xvid FourCC Changer to change the movie from xvid to divx.

    That fixes cases with jerky film play with xvid,you are the one who suggested reversing film order.

  6. jerky film ? 90% of the time its frame rate conversion.. but as we have no details???.. Who knows.. 8)

    It could be frame rate encoded problems or fields reversed but sometimes i found that when xvid plays really jerky changing the header to divx fixed the problem.

  8. More info for you after running it through GSPot
    It says bitrate is 817kb/s and FPS is 25. I felt it was an NTSC film but it looks like it is PAL by the frame rate
