I'm experiencing problems in using a DVD-Writer in my machine, I had a Sony DRU-10a which I replaced yesterday with a Pioneer 107.
I'm running XP Professional and had the drives installed as a Slave on the Secondary IDE, with DMA enabled.
However, I'm selecting (in Nero) to copy discs at 4x, the system operates very slowly, burning the disc close to the speed it would take to burn a 2x disc. Sometimes, the software crashes, making the burn incomplete.
My system spec is:
Processor - AMD XP 2000
Ram - DDR 1024 MB
Hard Drive has 2GB space free for Windows Vitual Memory settings
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks & Regards
Kaleem
