  1. i have some dvd movies and i wanted to tranfer them to the computer with the least amount of space with decent quality. can some please post guides or any info on this

    Make divx or xvid, try autogk or fairuse 0.3.

  3. i already have the dvd decypted into the pc. but i also want to resize to 352x240. what program allows me to do that? autogk only lets you adjust the width

    One of the easiest free tools is DVDX 2.2. You can input the ifo or root directory of the extracted dvd and create a vcd, svcd or compressed avi. You can resize and even frameserve the resized file if you don't like the built in encoder and you want to use an external encoder like tmpgenc. It needs very little workspace and you can even use it to rip straight from an encrypted disc. One of the best beginner and intermediate tool around.
