help win xp pro

for the last 6months i have had xp pro on pc put a new hdd and cpu and ram in now all i get is c: corrupt or upgade way form 98se or win 2000 unmountable boot drive .
the erra code it comes up with is not on ms site
(its a original copy put a nock off not got a vaild code or real code )work well on old pc

albatron kx600pro motherboard
512 ddr 400 kingston ram
120gb western digital se hdd
64ddr video card
asus dvd rom
pioneer a106 dvdrw
amd xp2600
any idea why this is hppening.
got me well stumped.

Do you have the FULL XP install or the Win98/ME upgrade?? If its the upgrade you have to install Win9X 1st then upgrade. Did you format your new drive? As far as a "knock off" code/key sorry but you can get that help here. But.. You can do a search on the net and find those options 8)
