When I rip with dvd encrypter it puts the files into a .rar archive. Is there a way to just put the ripped files into a folder so I don't have to unrar it? The unrar process takes a lot of time. Thanks.

dvd encrypter ? what is that ?
you mean DVD Decrypter ? how does it put the files into a rar format ?
maybe just read the guides here and here

Winrar defaults to associate certain image files to itself. I think .iso and .bin might show the icon for a winrar archive. This being one reason not to hide known file extensions.

BJ...My mistake on the name, sorry. It does put the file into a .rar format. Instead of ending up with a folder with all the many vob files in it, I end up with one large 7.5 gig .rar file that I have to unrar, which is painful to do.

i didnt even know you could do that -- or why you would want to ...

I really did not want that but it did it by itself. I solved it by installing win zip. Now it puts all the files in a folder and they are not zipped. I guess winzip took the steam out of winrar and over rode it.
