    all i want to do is record movie from my pc to a vhs tape, whats the best thing to get that does this? i would like it to be under $220.

    If your files are mpeg 1 or 2 then a hollywood+ would work great. You can get one with a remote for about $60. It will give you the best quality mpg playback for recording to VHS. You also get a great DVD decoder card.
