Help: DVD+R gives write error at the end

Hi!
I have Cendyne 4X writer (NEC_ND1100A).
I used to write on DVD+R discs for movie backup easily.
Recently I made four consecutive bad discs DVD+R.

If I use DVD+RW then it works.

I don't know where the probelm is.
DVD+R gives the following error:

"Write Error"
"Could not perform end-f-disc-Atonce"

Can someone help plz as to what can I do?

Are you able to close those bad disks?

I use Nero Express for burning and DVDShrink for compressing.
The movie is only 3.4GB. I tried different media such as Memorex, Imation, Fuji....all of them fail.

If I put in the +RW then there is no error but I don't want to use DVD+RW for movie backups as they are expensive.

I never had this problem. I own this write for almost a year. This problem started recently.

Ok.
Finally figured out that the media was a problem.

First time I used FUJI disks and my DVD writer doesn't like them.

I tried Imation and same problem.

Finally I tried HP disk and it worked fine.


So time to look for HP or memorex brand DVD media deals.
