I recorded the Super Bowl on my Panasonic HS2 standalone in SP. When I burned to DVD-Ram and transfered to my PC for authoring in TMPGEnc DVD Author I got the following message: "The program is a mix of different video formats. The video compression format (Mpeg-1 and Mpeg-2), resolution and the aspect ratio (4:3 and 16:9) must be the same within the program."
I've never had this happen before, so after lot's of research, I've found out that the resolution or bit rate changed during the game due to the broadcast/action. I've talked to several people who've told me this happens when recording certain sporting events (although my Daytona 500 turned out fine and they were going alot faster!).
My question is, what program or process can I use to get the video formats the same so I can author and burn?
