FF & RR Please help!!!!!

I have a Philips 751. Some of my own SVCDs don't like me to ff or rr. I have read somewhere on this site that if I download a file called scan??????.dat and burn it to the EXT directory on the svcd when authoring that this should solve my problem. The only thing is I can't find it again.

Please could someone tell me whether this would solve my problem, if so, point me in the right direction.

I have downloaded this file but I still cannot ff & rr. Have you any ideas?
