Would have to say around 40-50gb, I have to download huge files for work though.
-
I don't download very much and this is due to having dialup Internet access.
My downloads do vary so much month to month. Goes up and down depending on my usage times and what I am downloading.
The greatest recently was at 1.2 GB in total and this includes the uploading of data. This was during November.
Last month, during December was only half this due to the Christmas and New Year period. I was away from DVDRhelp.com during this time as I was very busy during the month.
The biggest amount per month ever I can remember was around 2.5 GB and this was two years ago. I used to be on the Internet for 15-18 hours per day then.
I used to do a lot more downloads such as free music files and video clips. I played the radio from London today for a few hours. So, streaming radio and video does also have an inpact on the download usage.
I also used to view live Times Square images on one computer while working on another: http://www.earthcam.com/usa/newyork/timessquare/
This also does have an impact on how much I download as pictures are refreshed every 15 seconds.
If I get broadband and I can get one here, then my downloads would be very much greater. A lot than I can imagine. -
Several GB of bandwidth at least, though none of it is for movies/games/music ... mostly for work or video-related (again, not movies).

I use a modem at home, but at my friends house where I spend alot of my weekends we totalled up in our heads and came up with about 60gb a month or there abouts. Could be much higher but at least that much. Of course he's a work at home programmer with an EX computer industry wife, and with the box I keep at their house its a 8 computer household if you count the server.

The most was about 30GB, and was mostly from Usenet. Whenever I wasn't surfing, NewsBin pro was working, or I was uploading to the same with PowerPoster2000, but it has been a couple of years now. Less than 1 GB this moth so far.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they? -
Pre-cap: 20 or so GB a month
First cap: 3 GB
Second cap: 6 GB
Now: 12-15GB -

300gb a month, mostly movies.. but i'm sure a good 50gb of that is mp3's, applications, porn..
(p.s.- i'm not kidding) -
I think Jeex isn't telling us the entire truth....
I think it is 299GB of porn, and the rest is TGPO moviesHope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they? -

Probably a little less than jeex.
It's amazing what you can do with an FTP server and DSL connections on both ends of the work/home equation. -
Dont' know about information size, but we regularly ping flood our isp from work because they are asses who run nt4 sp1. 300 computers pinging 65k for about 2 seconds usually does the trick.
Personally i've downloaded over 28gigs in a 24 hour period. I love IRC.
Theoretically I could download about 9 terabytes a month. Think i'd get kicked from my isp for doing this.. I think it would be fun to try.. just continously download a linux distro or something else insanely fast and huge. (off to write a proggie to do this) -

Still on a 56k dial-up and that's all I can get where I'm located.
I've pretty much downloaded everything I wanted by now and don't spend as much time online these days.
I buy more than I snag...
Will still check things out here and there though in case something of interest catches my attention.
