Problem burning CDRs

Hi

Im having a problem burning audio files to CDR. I was using Musicmatch and have done for a long time, but Im finding that although the CDs burn and play fine, when they get to the end the CD will not stop but hangs with the timer on the last second i.e the CD will not shut off, even though all the tracks are finished.

I have tried using different software with the same result so it doesnt seem to be a Musicmatch error. It isnt hugely important because the CDs do play but I dont want to keep burning CDs with this error on. Could it be a problem with the discs themselves? Anyone heard of this problem?

tis OK, sorted my own problem. Defragged PC and all working fine.

OK I still need help with this.

I tried defragging the PC and this worked and allowed me to burn 2 CDs without any problems, but then started the same problem again, even though I havent moved any files on my PC to make it need defragging again, and I have masses of unused space on the hard drive. Whenever I defrag it seems OK for 1 or 2 burns but I cant keep on defragging every few minutes!

Any suggestions as to why this is happening?
