  1. this question has probably been asked a million times over but I could never find what Im looking for with the search tool.

Anyways I burned a dvd using Adobe Encore dvd 1.0 on a DVD+RW and it works perfectly. Now I tried to copy the same DVD using Nero onto a printable Ritek (G03 dye) and for some reason it wont play the last chapter of my movie. I retried burning it with DVD X copy platinum, same results. Then once again burning the image file with Adobe Encore and I get the same thing. Am I right in assuming that my problem is the media? If so what media would you guys recommend?

*Prefferably printable media because I have a CD printer*

    Thanks in advance...

  3. I made a mistake, they were G04's (just noticed)

anyways just tried using dvd decryptr to burn it and got the same results. It plays a little farther than the others but its more pixelated and sound jumps in and out...

  5. Can you Decrypt the burned DVD with no problems with DVD Decrypter? If your computer drive has a hard time reading the last sectors of the disc (the outer edge... it's usually the last #'d set of VTS files), then you can definately assume the media is at fault (or at least... the media had problems during burning phase, reducing the write speed might correct this).

Decrypter will drop it's read speed usually below 1X into the fractional zone, you'll know you're having media problems.

  6. Ive compiled & created an image file with Maestro, then burned out the DVD+RW with Adobe ENCORE DVD 1.0. As for the DVD-R I tried to copy the DVD+RW disc with Nero, DVD X COPY PLATINUM, DVD DECRYPTER. and I also tried to burn out the image file (Exact same 1) with ADOBE ENCORE.

If I tried to read out the DVD+RW image with dvd decrypter and reburn it onto DVD-R would this help?

    Thanks in advance...

  7. GOT IT!!

thanks you guys for the help. I tried to read the image of the DVD+RW with DVD decrypter but it failed. (tried 2x) I then tried to just burn out the dvd files separately with nero rather than to burn out the image file and it worked.

It seems Maestro cant create Image files that well...

    THANKS AGAIN
