I am using Vegas to capture digital video from my camcorder, and eventually burning it to DVD. I'm assuming the video is interlaced, and the end product looks pretty good (given the medium quality of my camera) on television--but looks pretty horrible played on a computer or through an LCD projector. Am I correct in assuming this is because of interlacing? Does anyone have opinions on settings in Vegas to deinterlace this? I've read the deinterlacing guide, but it has so much information that is new to me that it's difficult for me to wrap my mind around it.
I also use TMPEnc if that would do a better job.
Thank you!
