I have purchased some of the 24.99 spindles of TDK and have run DVDInfoPro on them, getting TDKG02000000.
when I search for this in the media list, it shows many different names it is sold under, but what I am confused about is whether there is a difference between the many brands under which this code appears?
the results posted for one label are drastically different from another, which leads me to believe that the code isn't really an identifier unto itself, but must be noted in conjunction with the mfg. name too.
am I getting this?

In case of TDKG02000000 media most of the discs from non-"brand names" are fake media manufactured by Princo which explain their poor rating...

Is there any way to tell? They seem okay though...
