    For those who buy blank DVD discs that come in the cases, (like maxell or Memorex), and use a CD binder to hold the burnt DVD's, what do you do with the empty DVD cases?

    throw them away, or if I burn something for someone, then use them to give them the disk that I bought in a cakebox (but mostly I hate those jewel cases)

    Well, I use them for burning cd comp.s for friends. I'm like the guy in High Fidelity who never got past high school. I still think it's cool to make "mix tapes" - and can talk at length about the finer points of the perfect mix. I don't have many of these as I usually buy my cd/dvd's in spindle form.
