Yesterday I burnt a 1 3/4 hour VCD movie from only one single mpeg file that was not bigger than 680 MB. The vcd was simply of a perfect quality; better than any other svcd that I had tried to make from a Divx file that I even had to split and decode first. What is the secret? Should I always go for the highest video bitrates? Should the audio the highest bitrate possible? What setting in AVI2SVCD could I try to get a better result? Should I always go for the vcd or svcd standard?
I would be glad if someone could shine a litlle light on that.
