OK sorry if you folks have seen this before, but I'm new at this so bear with me. I have a panasonic standalone that I've been archiving old home videos with. Now I have my original footage on several DVD -R's. I've tried to convert them to a format that Studio 7 will recognize, to no avail.I'd like to edit them, add music, and titles, you know the deal. I tried DVD Decrypter, and that created something that I could play in my media player, but it was fluttering and had no audio.Studio7 wouldt open it. I tried Auto GK to convert it to an AVI, since Studio 7 seemed to want that, and the AVI it made was smooth video but still no audio. ( there IS audio on the DVD-R) Studio 7 just yawned and stared at me blankly.
Either way, I was't able to import the video into Studio 7 using either method.
Isnt there a one click method out there that takes my video from the disc and loads it into the harddrive so I can play with it?Or am I just dreaming?
Thanx for your input.
