Have some golf tips that were put on VHS. Had to do the old Passthrough through Sony Cam to get into Premiere to Edit.
I need to convert for web (320x240 wmv) but as you can see from the image, when I bring in from VHS, it adds lines on left and bottom that I would like to crop out before converting for web.

Original Capture Source is 720x480 (avi).
Any ideas/tips on best way to crop out.
Thanks

Thanks Smurf...I have 18 Videos to do and they all have the same issue. For starters, I was planning on using .wmv format.
I used Windows Media Encoder 9 Series to encode the avi. Although I have the other usual suspects of encoders I suppose I could try.
Any recommendations?
Also, do you know why it adds those lines to the AVI? I'm guessing becasue it captures at 720x480 from the analog VHS tapes, but just a guess. -

Hope this helps.
