When I try to convert a DVD 2 VCD as discribed in the guide of vcdhelp the following problem occured: I save the project in DVD2AVI and open it in TMPGEnc. That works perfectly, BUT the video starts with a trailer - not the actual movie. The movie begins after the trailer. The sound (extracted in DVD2AVI) however begins with the movie - so sound and movie arent sync.
Thanks,
Sem

Try this:
remove the first VOB file, and create a new D2V file.
The Dutchman -
<TABLE BORDER=0 ALIGN=CENTER WIDTH=85%><TR><TD><font size=-1>Quote:</font><HR size=1 color=black></TD></TR><TR><TD><FONT SIZE=-1><BLOCKQUOTE>
remove the first VOB file, and create a new D2V file.
</BLOCKQUOTE></FONT></TD></TR><TR><TD><HR size=1 color=black></TD></TR></TABLE>
Already tried that, but then it starts in the middle of the movie. -
Try putting your starting marker (in dvd2avi or tmpeg) just befor the movie starts and move it forward or backwards to get the correct sync
