  1. I'm looking very soon into buy a Pioneer DVR-510H-S.

I'm not 100% sure if I can send from my timeline Edition 5 from PC trough firewire to DVR-510H-S with no problem to burn a DVD.

Have you have this experience ?

I need the same like as was with Pioneer 7000, where you can output from PC to Pioneer 7000 with no problem via firewire.

Can I upgrade my hard drive ?

    Thank you very much

  2. I can ask somebody to try it... but it depends on him... so you will have to wait.

I have sent timeline in Premier to the 510 with no problem.
I am having a problem going the other way though, with the audio. PC wants to capture audio in 16 bit 4800 mhz, and is making the audio very cut up and unacceptable.Tried changing settings in both with no luck.

The Pioneer 5100 outputs video and audio exactly like a camcorder would.

I thought it should as well. But something is funny. There doesn't seem to be any where to change the settings on the 510. Any advice. My capture is set up for this. I even changed it to 12 bit, but no difference. The expanded audio timeline looks like rectangle blocks every 1 second or so, with nothing in between. Nothing what a regular waveform looks like.

  6. Maybe it is time to find out what realy DVC-SD mean
This recorder is only compatible with DV-format (DVC-SD) camcorders. Digital satellite tuners and Digital VHS video recorders are not compatible.
