What do you do with your coasters (screwed up disc's) besides using them for coasters.

back in the early CD burning days we made are by microwaving our coasters. BTW DO NOT DO THAT, WE WERE DUMB, DONT BE DUMB.
do it if you really want its cool
Now I just check them at my trash can with such force they usually shatter inside. -
i take them to my cousins house, hang them by string from a clothes line & shoot them with a pellet gun or 22.
or if i get instantly angry, i'll smash them up & throw them away.
although, i should probably start saving them them until i fill up a spindle and send them to the manufacturer for a replacement. -
thats not really a dumb thing to do, it destroys all the data - they only need to be in there for about 1-2 seconds
-
Yeah we also had an OS2 Warp Training video on Laserdisc, we put it in also. it was impressive, after that we stopped doing it. A supervisor passed as we were doing it and nearly fainted when he realized what was happening.

Most of the time i just bin them but sometimes it can get a bit frustrating - then i simply smash them against the wall so that they explode in pieces............ then gather together the bits and bin them.
-
One time I glued all my coaster together, but now I hardly ever get any coasters so I just leave them floating arround on my desk.

I collect them, then when I have enough I turn them into futuristic abstract art that I sell at the markets.
Or I bin them. -
First, I work on not making anymore. Then I nuke them for 3 seconds in the microwave and throw them in the trash.

I simply throw them in the trash.

I rarely make any uh-oh's either. But I still get disc's in the mail from various internet providers, and was trying to think of something usefull to do with them. So far coaster is the best idea to me, followed very closely by throwing them away,
. I thought of a pizza cutter, but that would require more parts. Wheels for a toy car. Maybe a string of decorations. Skeet shooting. A restrictor plate for something. A spacer for something. A silent wind chime
A base for some project. Just some idea's.

I sometime give them to my snake(she looks at herself in them) or my birds(same reason). If they have enough I just pitch them out.

You know I don't get many coasters. But when I do have a trash CD sitting around I tomahawk it at my cat when he's sleeping on the back of my couch. He once tried to bat it down out of the air but sooned learned the folly of his ways
No cats were harmed in the telling of this tale -
I love cat's....Well done ! Crispy on both sides.

I'm going to build a big pile of disused/nackered discs as well as coasters and I'll use an old soldering iron or something hot to weld them together (if that's possible). I'll make something arty out of them. Perhaps a dog.

Left them aside and put away for years if I can remember them.
I found more of them the other week and I am using one for coffee and beer. -
