    Hi Yall!
    I thought was alot easier and wanted to try this out for the first time yesterday. I have ADS Instant DVD 2.0 hooked up to my computer. I was planning on putting a powerpoint presentation on VCR Tape. But I suddently realised that (with capture wizard), I could only put an existing video (say mpeg, etc...) to vcr. What I'd like, is to press "RECORD" and then, anything at all that gets displayed on my computer (in this case, it's my laptop), gets recorded to VCR. Meaning the power point presentation.

    What I've been able to do so far successfully,

    1. I was able to have everything displayed on my TV using the S-Video OUT of my laptop and Audio Out of my laptop so my TV has the display AND the sound. But After that, there's no built-in "VIDEO OUT" in the back of my TV! Only a Audio Out. (It's getting pretty complicated.)

    Here is what I think should be done.

    From Laptop --> to ADS Instant DVD 2.0
    ----------- -------------------
    S-Video Out---->S-Video IN
    Audio Out------>Audio IN

    At the same time Have

    From
    ADS Instant DVD-> TO VCR
    --------------- ------------
    Video Out --> Video IN
    AUdio Out --> Audio IN

    Please let me know your thoughts or if there's a better way of doing this!! Thanks!
    Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a gift and not giving it.

    I don't get it. If you can go from the ADS to the TV, why don't you just go from the ADS to the VCR?

    Ah, no svhs in on the VCR either?

    Can't you buy a simple adapter cable to go from s-video to composite?
