    I have a videocard (MGI videowave 4)and it worked fine when I had my magnavox dvd player. To make a long story short I switched the regular dvd player with a DMR-E80H recorder -- same connections and now everytime I try to use the video capture it reboots my computer... Is there a compatability conflict going on there?

    You need to contact customer service for your video card. Perhaps they have a forum at their website u can check out.
