  1. I rip using "Smart Ripper" making sure the 'Region Free' option is ticked. Then burn using "Nero 6.0.0.11". I cant see a region setting on this?

I just checked a burned disk, and its coded to region 2......which granted - IS the area i'm in...but i set Smart Ripper to disregard this info.

So - Is it Smart Ripper , ripping it as aregion 2 disk, or is it Nero burning this by default?

    Somebody PLEASE help!!!!

  2. How are you checking the region code on the disk, with what software & have you got ur DVD drive region free ? Might be region free disk with a region 2 drive ?
It appears that the CPU was operating so fast that it began to execute instructions before they arrived. This execution of future instructions created a small tear in space-time itself through which part of the cpu passed into a parallel universe

  3. I checked it on Nero Info Tool, to check this i placed a 'shop bought' dvd in to see, and it gave that info as region 2&4 which is correct on the reverse of the dvd.
Also, the last dvd i viewed on my laptop was a region 1, and as i dont watch many on it theres still 1 'region set' option available asking do i want to change the setting from its current setting of 1 to the new setting of 2?

I dont get it. Im sure Nero aint setting it..... as theres no option, but i really though that 'Smart Ripper' got rip of these codes otherwise whats the tick box for?!!!!

Hm have you reflashed the dvd drives with a region free firmware ? http://pioneerdvd.rpc1.org/

  5. I've reflashed, and tried to use region killer - makes no difference. I have just checked the region set in the machine via 'my computer properties', which it states region 2. I have just tried to play a dvd through power dvd and it gave me the option to change one last time from 1 to 2. I tried to change it and it wouldn't let me!!!

I can still rip any region dvd through my software so thats no problem, but i want to be ableto rip and burn with NO set region code. Surely it aint THAT hard to do?!!!!!
