I cant SHRINK my files

I captured a couple of files in mpg2 format at 3MB/s. When I put them together in Ulead Moviefactory 2 they were about 5gig. I used Ulead to make a DVD burnable Video_TS folder with the vob files in it. My plan was to use SHRINK to make them fin a a disk. When I open them in SHRINK and click backup, the process gets to 100% then gives me an unknown error and stops. It just won't finish and there are only a couple of small files in the destination directory. ANY IDEAS? If noone knows how to fix this can someone tell me how to get about 4 hrs of mpg files on a dvd-r disk. I'll reencode if I need to. I have MovieFactory 2, Roxio 6, MyDVD, and I would prefer a solution with these or a freeware application. Thanks.

what verson if dvdshrink are you using. I heard the 2.3 will do what you want to do (latest version wont).

I've been trying to use 3.0 beta 5. I tried to download 2.3 and from dvdshrink.org and the site must be down. Maybe that will work.
