I'm looking for info on the store http://www.printergalaxy.com I checked for buyer ratings at a few of the usual spots, but nothing is listed. There is a rather expensive piece of hardware that I need to buy, and I want to make sure I don't get screwed. They are about $30 lower than CDW for the same item, and about $80 less than B&H photo, and they offer free shipping on that item. I even searched what little google could find on them, to see if anyone was mad enough to make a web site, or at least post about them inside some kind of page, nothing bad, and nothing good. Any help would be welcome.

  2. did you try searching for their parent company TechnologyGalaxy..
or some of the other sites, monitorgalaxy.. cablegalaxy memorygalaxy..

anyways the site looks professional enough, but there is no 800 number to talk to a live human being.

You may want to fire off an email to their tech support to see how long it takes for them to respond.

    Village,

I thought this address was familiar - no wonder. I used to go to this address when I lived in Las Vegas, it was near my house! It's a Mail Boxes Etc store in the Albertson's shopping center at Ann Road and the 95 Freeway. So obviously the company you are dealing with has no real physical address, just a mail drop. Beware. It's easy for anyone to open a PO box there and disappear. Very little documents are required to open up a PO box account.
If you use them, make sure to use a credit card that you can reverse the charges if they don't ship the product to you, for your own protection.
See below I took from a business listing of shipping cos. in Vegas:

Mailboxes etc. Hmmmmm...... Guess I'll buy it from CDW, at least I know that they truly exist. Better to spend an extra $25 and get the item than waste $825 on something that may never arrive. Thanks again.

At least it gives you a name, but that's about the only variable. I'd stick with CDW since there is no information readily available for this company.

Just think of that extra $25 as an insurance policy from CDW that you will get your item.......

(besides, the company I work for sells CDW most of their inventory! So you'll be helping to keep me employed! )

So maybe I could buy it from your company? Actually, I'm pretty sure you won't supply it. It is a special order item and should come directly from Epson. http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/ProductQuickSpec.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=8361&category= Most likely just an Xrite DTP-22 with a custom ID so that the software knows it is allowed to work. This for use with a Fiery RS-5100 RIP server, among other products. It might have to wait a while again, I suddenly need to do some exhaust work on my car.

  11. i think the company is fake.. i tried ordering a monitor from monitor galaxy and i added th $7000 sony plasma monitor to my cart, put in a buncha fake info, and then i put in a semi-realish, yet fake cc#.. when i tried to submit it came up with a popup window instantly saying "please enter a correct credit card number".. no processing, nothing.. i'm guessing they're just harvesting info through these sites..

they also accept "wire transfers"... maybe is al-queda!!??

someone notify tom ridge, and tell bush to stop watching ppv porn
