    ok posted allready but i no dvd standalone plays copies cause i have some.
    used dvd shrink and nero to copy on to dvd-rw works fine on pc but not dvd standalone ????????

    How many DVD Players have you tried? Have you checked, by using the DVD player compatibility listings on this site to see if your player will accept DVD R/RW discs?

    I suggest that you do some more research and then come back for further help, if it's needed.

    BTW it could also be the type of media you are using, can you advise details? Also what burner are you using?
