    When i try to burn at 4X i get a Power calibration error in Nero.
    I have NEC 1300A
    using non branded 4X dvd-r
    Do you think its just the media??
    Any ideas

    I have a Pioneer DVR-A03 and when I get that message I usually need to crack the drive open and clean the laser lens. Others have also mentioned this same thing, but this is only one possible cause for that error message.
