    I just installed iLife (well...iDVD) on my G4 400 mhz 512 ram
NO PROBLEMS burning my xmas video to DVD
using the Pioneer DVR-106 burner I installed.

A little slower than I would have liked...but...HEY
    it works!!!!
No special tweaks ... no more tears ...

    WOO-HOO!!!
    Thanx for the tip-offs guys.

Maybe the upgraded version, just announced, will help improve the speed??

Or, do you have that version already??

    Thanks for the update,

    Probably but I doubt it.
I got 512 megs ram and a 400 mhz processor
I'm kinda low end where this stuff is concerned.
    I ain't sweatin it though.

I may not be drivin a Ferrari ... but I'm drivin.

As for the latest version...I wish.
    (MMMM ... Garage Band)
But I didn't wanna push my luck....minimum mhz for iDVD in the latest iteration is 700 mhz ...

Thanx again Mike...you guys saved me from moving toward a lesser solution with a bigger price tag.
