I have authored a DVD using TMPG ENC for the conversion from AVI to MPG, and then ULEAD DVD Movie Factory to burn it to DVD.
Watching the DVD I have noticed when there is movement such as a person walking or camera moving across a room the picture seems to be unclear or blocky with horizontal bars?? As son as the movement stops the picutre is normal.
Can someone tell me if there is a setting I have missed out on to cause this to happen?? Also If I am posting this in the right forum!
thanks

Sounds like you've got the interlace field order wrong - I bet you've left the default which is field A first when you wanted field B.
If the problem persists, try using one of the deinterlace filters. You can toggle the filter on and off while previewing the video still in the window to see which has the best effect for your source.
