    Kas,

There are a ton of sites on the internet about web design.

In basic terms, a web page is really no different from a text document. except tags are used to control the layout. So if you create a page that said " Hello world the world Hello world will be in bold because the tag says start bold font, the says end bold text.

In Frontpage, knowledge of these tags is not necessary, but if you type some text in Frontpage, you can switch to html view and see what tags are being used.

So if I wee you, experiment with Frontpage, while switching between views to get a feel for what is happening.

Once you are happy with your page, you need to place it on a web server. This is (usually, a pc) that sends your page to another pc and displays it in their web browser.

This is a massive subject, have fun mate.

Doing Frontpage is very simple and help is available when using the application.

I learn it myself and this just a basic html page and my "Frontpage" version is 2002.

You can do it, just open the application and a new page is there and off you go. Just type the text and insert images into the new page.

You can do anything, you can make a hyperlink for a website or an email address.

You can even make hyperlink to open the url link into a new browser window or click a photo to enlarge it.

If desired, create a new folder in "My Webs" in My Documents using the application and re-name the new webpage as index.htm.

From that folder, you can upload the documents to your free webpage or free website.

Is this all that easy and go and try it.

Mate, If I'd known you were an Arsenel fan I wouldn't have bothered!

    Seriously,

If you want to connect to databases, there's a steep, but enjoyable, learning curve. Don't be put off. It's not reallt possible to explain how to do it in such a short message. If I were you whazz down to the local library or PC World and grab a book oe someone who can give you some personal guidance.

You'll need a little knowledge of databases, how there are constructed and SQL, that is a laguage that extacts data from your database. You'll need to know a scripting language such as VBScript, JavaScript or PHP.

Also, the ISPwhere you are going to host your pages will need to be able to service database such as Access (Not a good choice for large DBs), SQL server or MYSQL (I think this one is free)

Good luch, and let us know how you get on
