Anything I burn on this drive seems to have slight glitches of some sort with any media I use, It happens to both DVD's and CD's, now on DVD's the glitches dont always happen at the same point, which is very confusing to me.

The dvds all work on My newest DVD player flawlessly but do not work with my PS2 or my old JVC DVD player (well they work except for slight glitches). Sometimes I can watch the entire movie without a single glitch, but at another point it may glitch. I also have another computer with a DRU120A in which I use the same exact software to Rip and Burn (dvd shrink and Nero) and those discs always work fine on my Ps2 but glitch on the JVC and of course my newest DVD player (dont know make/model) plays them flawlessly. What I dont get is why if using the same EXACT media and software just two different drives (and two different computers) that the DVD's burnt on my DWU14a glitch on my PS2, I have burned tons of movies with my DRU120A and never ever had a single problem on my PS2. But all of a sudden this friggin dwu14a makes it not work. what I dont get is they all seem to work on my NEW dvd player which makes me wonder how could it be my burner?? ALSO with CD's I burn a CD that may work in a certain CD player but not in another (pretty New Car stereo) it seems that towards the end of the CD I hear this weird static (always ocurring at the same point).

The only two things I think they may be is my burner or the fact that the DWU 14a is in a computer with an 800mhz P3 wheras my DRU120A is in a 2100+ AMd athlon XP computer. I know I was very vague about the details of drives but I was hoping someone might have simlar problems with glitches because those are my main concern, because its not like they dont work, they arent coasters! (yet) because no matter what media/speed I burn at I can successfully play it in this one DVD player (my newest one) reason I keep saying newest one is because I just bought it a month ago and I believe that as newer DVD players come out they more compatible they will be with DVD+/- R's.

Any comments or suggestions whatsoever on anything I have just said would be greatly appreciated.
