I've desided that its time to devote a PC to just video production work.
I have gathered these peaces from my workshop.
An Abit VP6 mobo
2, PIII 1100E (100 mhz fsb) cpu's
512 meg of ram (PC133 sdram)
A Matrox G400 MAX 32 meg, dual head vid card
A SBLive Platinum sound card (original, not Audigy)
A 20 gig ATA100 7200 rpm hdd (for my OS)
A 60 gig ATA100 7200 rpm hdd for video
A SCSII card for my X6EL scanner
A generic Firewire card for my Canon ZR DV camcorder
A WinTV GO! capture card
A Pioneer 104S DVD player
A generic 52X 24X 52X 'burner
A Sony DVD-RAM/R burner
And of course, a 10/100 NIC
I will probably run 98SE/WIN2000 Pro dual-boot
I have:
Premiere 6.0 & 6.5
Ulead DV Studio 5.0
VirtualDUB (how do I make it run under 2000 Pro?)
TMPGEnc Plus!
DVDit! SE
It looks like I have everything covered. However, do I need more ram?

Remember that the ram should be split equally across ALL the slots! That being said, more ram wouldn't hurt. Does that board offer IDE raid? You could throw a couple drives on the raid ports if it does. You might want to consider a different capture card, maybe one that has AGP video with it like one of the better ATI cards, but only if you are looking for an excuse to spend money on a new toy.
EDIT:
I would get rid of the CDR and just get a good multi DVDR/CDR burner. No sense in having so many different burners in one machine. If you really want to keep the CD burner, I would put it into an external firewire box. My CDR works great like that, all the way up to 48x burns.Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?
