    I only use Ritek 4x and I burn with the newest Sony Burner and I have noticed the same problem in about 150 movies. About 2/3 of the way through the movie there is one very very slight pause. No big deal and not annoying at all but Im just curious if anyone else has had this happen to them? Everything else is perfect. Maybe someone else that uses the Ritek G04's has had the same problem.

    If your using a transcoder (DVD2One, DVD Shrink, etc..) it may not remove the layer change point in the IFO. Some DVD players will show a pause at this point.

    I think disturbed is right on - does the pause occur at the same point on the original? If so, it is definitely due to the layer transition.
