i bought some inkjet printable dvds...BEALL,SAMSUNG,ACCU,RITEK,GENERIC , OPTODISC
thing is when i burn it on my 4x burner some will play on my stand alone like accu but towards the end of the movie there will be break ups and freezes....optodisc and riteck will say on the standalone no disk..error.....
i dont think if any difference if a disc is in error before or after printed on
all are recognized on the computer dvd drive in dvd decryptor
my questions:
1. does there exist any reliable 4x printable media?
2. does it matter if to print first then record OR record first print second?
3. another brand lead data? played good first two times in standalone then blanked out even in the computer and dvd decryptor wont see it! it will just spin? what happened? the TOC or dye wearing out?
4. i brought some to my friends dvd standalone and 1 out of played!!!! 2 were accu (one said disk error, other one played),one ritek no good, optodisk
however the memorex labeled played great on his!!!!!
HELP I DONT GET THIS !!!!!!!![]()

i use 4x ritek printables, the manual with my printer says to burn the data to the disc before you print.

I doubt being printable or printing has anything to do with your problem. Many people report poor results at 4x and burn at 2x to get realiable playback. Are you always using the same burning program?
