I have an Epson inkjet printer that prints directly to DC's and DVD's. It came with a special program for printing directly onto the discs.
I used to use Nero to make audio CD's and then export the track list to Nero cover designer for the labels.
The Epson program does not burn CD's or import track lists. Nero does not allow you to export track lists. The only thing I know to do is manually type each song name into the Epson program.
Does anyone know of a program that will burn music CD's AND print directly on printable disc's?
Or is it possible to create a template for Nero cover designer to print directly onto printable disc's?

If you can get you list to a txt file then you could copy and paste them in after doing -- Import / Text -- In the epson software.
If all your tracks are in one folder then a dir lister program would be able to generate a list for you to copy and paste.
In fact you can copy the list from nero once you have highlighted your list just use the copy command (right click) and then paste into the epson program. Not bothered by small problems...

OK was worth a try, Something i didnt do..
Just done it this way though
Go Here and download Directory lister This will allow you to created a list of the files on the cd so long as they are in the same dir. From the preview window do a copy of the list and you will then be able to paste into the inport text box in epson print cd software. Not bothered by small problems...

Maybe I am missing something...
Can't you click on the name of the file like you are going to change it, make sure it is highlighted and press CTRL+C and then CTRL+V to paste where you want it?
All my songs are of the format "Artist - Title".

Thanks, iooi. I will try that.
Tearren, what you are missing is that I can also re-type the names into the printing program, but I'm looking for a fast and easier way to do it. What you suggest is better than typing each name individually, but not by much.
Also, my mom (elderly) needs to be able to do it. She burns CD's like there's no tomorrow.
It just amazes me that Nero doesn't let you export the list to anywhere other than it's own printing program.I don't have a bad attitude...

Leebo - I share your frustration about the inability to move track lists out of Nero (or Roxio) into other apps - and most specifically the Epson Print CD app. Here is one other solution (and its so obvious you may have already considered and rejected it). I'm also not sure its simple enough for an unsophisticated user. Here it is:
Take a screenshot of the Nero screen showing the disk with the track listing (or the one from the booklet or tray insert). Use an image editing program to crop out the relevant portion and save as a separate .jpg. Then simply import that as an image and place on your CD in the Print CD app. Hope this helps!BadgerBoy -
Yes, been there, done that. Thanks anyway.
the problem is that Cd's and DVD's have a hole in them. Nero cover Designer puts the text around the hole.
Even taking a screen shot of that is a problem because you can't capture just the CD part, so you'd have to crop and the resulting pic would be of low resolution and probably look poor.I don't have a bad attitude...

Actually, the template I use in Nero Cover Designer puts the track info in a block on the lower portion of the CD/DVD. And I did the procedure I described and the results looked acceptable on screen. I haven't tried printing yet.
